Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Kia Sorento have?
The original body-on-frame Sorento (BL, 2002–2011) uses a 5×139.7 truck-style pattern with a 95.3 mm hub. Every unibody Sorento since (XM, UM, MQ4 — 2009 on) is 5×114.3 with a 67.1 mm hub — both eras use M12×1.5 nuts. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Sorento?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Sorento?
67.1 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
