Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Lada Niva have?
The rugged Niva 4×4 uses an older, wider 5×139.7 pattern with a 98.5 mm hub and M12×1.25 cone-seat bolts, unlike the modern 4×98 AvtoVAZ passenger cars. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Niva?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Niva?
98.5 mm on the current car. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
