Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Suzuki Vitara have?
The original body-on-frame Vitara (1988–1998) is a proper off-roader pattern: 5×139.7 on a 108.1 mm hub with M12×1.25 bolts. The modern unibody crossover Vitara (LY, 2015 on, built on the Swift platform) is a completely different car underneath — 5×114.3 on a 60.1 mm hub with M12×1.5 nuts. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Vitara?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Vitara?
60.1 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
