Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Ford Bronco have?

The classic body-on-frame Bronco (1966-1996) used a 5×139.7/87.1mm fitment on imperial studs; the 2021 revival grew to 6×139.7 on a larger 93.1mm hub with metric M12×1.5 studs, matching Ford's modern truck/SUV lineup. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my Bronco?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a Bronco?

93.1 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
