O Opel Astra — Bolt Pattern
The Astra has changed bolt pattern three times: the G (1998–2005) is 4×100, the H (2004–2009) splits by engine into 4×100 or 5×110, the J/K (2009–2021) settled on 5×105, and the current L (2021 on, PSA platform) switched to 5×108 with bolts instead of nuts.

Small-engine trims (1.3 CDTI etc.) are 4×100; 2.0-litre and up trims are 5×110 on a 65.1 mm hub — same thread either way.

Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Opel Astra have?
The Astra has changed bolt pattern three times: the G (1998–2005) is 4×100, the H (2004–2009) splits by engine into 4×100 or 5×110, the J/K (2009–2021) settled on 5×105, and the current L (2021 on, PSA platform) switched to 5×108 with bolts instead of nuts. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Astra?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Astra?
65.1 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
