Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Peugeot 308 have?
The Mk1 308 (2007–2013) is 4×108. From the Mk2 (2013) on it is 5×108 — both with a 65.1 mm hub. Peugeot uses wheel bolts, not studs; thread went from M12×1.5 to the finer M12×1.25 with the Mk2. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my 308?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a 308?
65.1 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
