Audi Q7 — Bolt Pattern

The original 4L (2005–2015) is 5×130 with a large 71.6 mm hub — shared with the Porsche Cayenne/VW Touareg of that era. The 4M (2015 on) switched to the regular Audi 5×112 with a 66.5 mm hub, and the offset dropped sharply too, from the 4L's ET56–65 to the 4M's ET25–38.

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Audi Q7 have?

The original 4L (2005–2015) is 5×130 with a large 71.6 mm hub — shared with the Porsche Cayenne/VW Touareg of that era. The 4M (2015 on) switched to the regular Audi 5×112 with a 66.5 mm hub, and the offset dropped sharply too, from the 4L's ET56–65 to the 4M's ET25–38. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my Q7?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a Q7?

66.5 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
