Common questions
What bolt pattern does the GMC Terrain have?
Mirrors the platform-mate Chevrolet Equinox's fitment history: the Theta-platform first Terrain (2010-2017) ran 5×120/M14×1.5 on a 66.9 mm hub, then the D2XX-platform second and third generations (2018 on) moved to 5×115/M12×1.5 on a larger 70.3 mm hub. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Terrain?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Terrain?
70.3 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
