Common questions
What bolt pattern does the Chevrolet Tahoe have?
The full-size Tahoe has used 6×139.7/78.1mm since its 1995 launch (a minority of early 2WD versions ran a different 5×127 pattern); the current GM T1 generation kept the same fitment. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my Tahoe?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a Tahoe?
78.1 mm on the current car. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
