BMW X3 — Bolt Pattern
The E83 and F25 are 5×120 with a 72.6 mm hub, same as contemporary 3-Series/5-Series BMWs — but the bolt thread went finer (M14×1.5 → M14×1.25) with the F25. The G01 (2017 on) switched pattern entirely, to 5×112 with a 66.6 mm hub — a G01 wheel needs an adapter to fit an older X3.

Common questions
What bolt pattern does the BMW X3 have?
The E83 and F25 are 5×120 with a 72.6 mm hub, same as contemporary 3-Series/5-Series BMWs — but the bolt thread went finer (M14×1.5 → M14×1.25) with the F25. The G01 (2017 on) switched pattern entirely, to 5×112 with a 66.6 mm hub — a G01 wheel needs an adapter to fit an older X3. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.
Will other wheels fit my X3?
Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.
What is the centre bore on a X3?
66.6 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.
Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
