T Tesla Model 3 — Bolt Pattern

Tesla's mass-market sedan has kept the same 5×114.3 bolt pattern on a 64.1 mm hub with M14×1.5 lug nuts across the original car and its 2023 facelift — a conventional fitment despite the EV underpinnings.

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Tesla Model 3 have?

Tesla's mass-market sedan has kept the same 5×114.3 bolt pattern on a 64.1 mm hub with M14×1.5 lug nuts across the original car and its 2023 facelift — a conventional fitment despite the EV underpinnings. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my Model 3?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a Model 3?

64.1 mm on the current car. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
