Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Ram 1500 have?

The DS-body 1500 (2009–2018, and the Classic built alongside the new truck through 2024) is 5×139.7 — 9/16"-18 stud through 2011, M14×1.5 from 2012. The all-new DT body (2019+) moved to 6×139.7 with a 77.8 mm hub and M14×1.5 studs. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my 1500?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a 1500?

77.8 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
