Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Fiat 500 have?

The modern 500 (2007 on, both pre- and post-facelift) is 4×98 with a 58.1 mm hub and M12×1.25 wheel bolts — a fairly unusual pattern outside the Fiat/Alfa Romeo family. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my 500?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a 500?

58.1 mm on the current car. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
