Chevrolet Traverse — Bolt Pattern

An unusual 6-lug crossover fitment: the first-generation Traverse (2009-2017, Lambda platform) used 6×132 on a 74.5 mm hub, while every generation since (2018 on) switched to 6×120 on a smaller 66.9 mm hub. M14×1.5 studs throughout.

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Chevrolet Traverse have?

An unusual 6-lug crossover fitment: the first-generation Traverse (2009-2017, Lambda platform) used 6×132 on a 74.5 mm hub, while every generation since (2018 on) switched to 6×120 on a smaller 66.9 mm hub. M14×1.5 studs throughout. Check the table above for your exact generation, and confirm against a wheel or the owner's handbook before buying.

Will other wheels fit my Traverse?

Only wheels with exactly the same bolt pattern — bolt pattern has no working tolerance. The centre bore must also be equal to or larger than the hub (a larger bore just needs spigot rings). A different pattern needs bolt-on adapters, which also push the wheel outward and change the track.

What is the centre bore on a Traverse?

66.9 mm on the current car — earlier generations may differ, see the table. The bore is the hole in the middle of the wheel; it has to clear the hub spigot or sit on a spigot ring.

Bolt pattern is only part of fitment. The offset (ET) decides where the wheel sits in the arch — work that out with the wheel offset calculator. For tyre sizing on a new wheel width, use the tire size calculator.
